Prayer Requests

Last October I asked you to pray for a student in our youth group named Josh who was diagnosed with cancer. Currently Josh is going through a rough patch of treatment, with the possibility of having to be put on a feeding tube because He is loosing so much weight a very imminent reality. Thank you for your prayers and please keep them coming. My main reason for requesting prayer however is that on Sunday Josh's grandfather, who raised him and his brother Alex, passed away suddenly. This is a devastating blow to this already fractured family. It is not certain if he was a believer, as he definetly wasn't most of his life, but his son in law think he may have made a decision to follow Christ in the last few weeks as a result of a conversation he had with my pastor. In addition he refused to have the hospital priest give him last rights when he was in the hospital. Only God knows this side of eternity.

Would you join me in praying for the Ortiz family. Pray for Josh and Alex. Pray for their grandmother. Pray that they would mourn but not be crushed with despair. And pray that the body of Christ can be just that to them during this painful season.
